Rigid back strip brush - in stainless steel or galvanised backing.
Moulded strip brush - into polyurethane backing.
Available in stainless steel or galvanised backing.
Strip Brushes are made by filling brush fibres into a continuous metal channel. The fibres are held into the channel by a central rod, which is the held in place by closing the sides of the channel.
Strip Brushes may be cut into straight lengths or manipulated in the factory to form a multitude of brushes.
Special Aluminium Holders are available for the 4mm & 8mm Strip to facilitate mounting by screwing, riveting or welding. Fabricated holders can be made to suit other strip sizes.
Strip sizes: 3.5, 4, 5, 8, 12 & 14mm.
A full range of Filaments are available -
- All synthetic fibres from 0.005" (0.13mm) to 0.180" (3.0mm).
- All types of hair, natural fibres and wires.
Moulded polyurethane strips
This type of brush making is quite unique as it is virtually unrestricted in the length of bristle that can be used and the density of fill required. Because the individual bristles are moulded into the polyurethane base, it is nearly impossible to remove them and is extremely hardy in all outside elements.
